The 7 Days Lemosho Route is one of the most scenic and successful Kilimanjaro routes, starting from the west and merging with the Machame trail. It offers a gradual ascent, excellent for acclimatization, and stunning panoramic views. This 7-day version includes a balanced itinerary with a good mix of hiking and rest, giving trekkers a strong chance of reaching Uhuru Peak — the highest point in Africa.

Begin your trek through lush rainforest teeming with wildlife. Overnight at Mti Mkubwa Camp.

Ascend through forest and onto the Shira Plateau, crossing ridges and valleys. Camp at Shira 1 with stunning views of Kibo.

Enjoy an easy trek across the plateau. Spend the afternoon exploring the area or taking an acclimatization hike.

Climb to Lava Tower for acclimatization, then descend to Barranco Camp, famous for its sunset views and proximity to the Barranco Wall.

Ascend the Barranco Wall, traverse alpine terrain, and reach Barafu Camp, your basecamp for the summit attempt. Early dinner and rest before midnight push.

Start the summit attempt at midnight, reaching Stella Point at sunrise and Uhuru Peak shortly after. Celebrate briefly, then descend to Mweka Camp.
