Located just outside of Arusha or Moshi, this immersive experience allows you to engage directly with the Maasai community, learn about their daily life, traditions, and values. You’ll visit a traditional boma (village), observe their handmade homes, witness traditional dances, and hear stories passed down through generations.

Tour Plan
Duration: Half Day (Approx. 4–6 Hours)
Start/End Point: Arusha or Moshi Town
08:30 AM – Pick-up from Your Hotel
Our driver will meet you at your hotel in Arusha or Moshi and take you on a scenic drive to a nearby Maasai village. Along the way, enjoy views of the countryside and learn about the Maasai from your guide.
10:00 AM – Arrive at Maasai Village (Boma)
You’ll be warmly welcomed by the Maasai community. The visit begins with a traditional dance performance, followed by a guided tour of the village. You’ll enter a manyatta (mud hut), learn about their diet, roles, beliefs, and how they coexist with wildlife.
11:30 AM – Cultural Interaction and Handicrafts Display
Engage in Q&A with your hosts, hear stories of warrior life and traditions, and browse handcrafted jewelry and souvenirs made by Maasai women. Purchasing crafts is optional, but it directly supports the community.
12:30 PM – Depart and Return to Town
Say goodbye to your hosts and begin your journey back to Arusha or Moshi. Optional lunch can be arranged upon request.
01:30–02:00 PM – Drop-off at Your Hotel
You’ll arrive back at your hotel filled with new knowledge and appreciation for one of East Africa’s most fascinating cultures.
